Vintage 1950s Clear Rhinestone Diamante Starburst Spray Brooch.
Description
An attractive vintage diamante brooch, probably dating from the 1950s to early 1960s.
The brooch has an elaborate starburst or floral-spray design, composed of numerous clear, round-cut rhinestones arranged around a larger central stone. Its radiating double rows and raised, layered construction give the brooch plenty of depth and sparkle.
The stones are individually claw-set into a silver-coloured metal framework. The reverse is fitted with a traditional brooch pin and safety clasp. No maker’s name or precious-metal mark has been found, so the metal is described as silver tone.
A striking piece of mid-century costume jewellery, suitable for wearing on a jacket, dress, scarf or evening outfit.

Condition Report
In good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with use. The rhinestones appear to be present and remain securely held in their settings. The pin and clasp are intact.
