Vintage 1909 Gosnell’s Cherry Blossom Sachet Bookmark with Complete Calendar
An original Edwardian advertising bookmark for Gosnell’s Cherry Blossom, produced by the British perfume and toiletries company John Gosnell & Co.
Printed on pink card with gold decoration, the front features a colour portrait and the words “Gosnell’s Sachet Book Mark”. The bookmark also has an attached, complete calendar for 1909. The reverse advertises Gosnell’s Cherry Blossom, Famora, Violette Sublime and Eau de Cologne products.
The sachet is present but empty. An attractive piece of early perfume advertising and bookmark ephemera.
The condition of Bookmark and calendar is very good. The attached 1909 calendar is complete, and the sachet is empty. The colours and printing remain clear. There is light handling wear, including slight rubbing and softening at the corners and edges.
